Antiviral Activity Mouth Rinses

A recent Journal of Dental Research article postulates that mouthwashes with antiviral ingredients could help decrease COVID-19 transmission. They would do so by reducing viral loads in the mouths of infected patients when they cough, sneeze or speak. Studies have found that rinses containing cetylpyridinium chloride or povidone-iodine can reduce the oral coronavirus load; other [...]

All of those foods are certainly good choices and may even be worthy of the “superfood” label. But what about liver? I’ll [...]

Naturopathic doctors (NDs) follow six guiding principles that serve as a philosophical platform for all of naturopathic medicine. The principles influence how NDs think about medicine, make clinical decisions, and most importantly, how you are treated as a patient. First, do no harm is one of these six core principles. Naturopathic doctors follow a hierarchy [...]

Nine (!!!) out of 10 people that I've tested in my practice are at least 40% under an optimal Vitamin D level of 150 nmol/L. The Provincial Government has decreed our Family Doctors and Specialists to accept 70 nmol/L as "normal" even though this is based on VERY outdated science. On top of that the [...]
