Optimizing sleep is one of the most important things we can do to optimize our health.

From digestive function, cleaning out metabolic waste from the brain, processing new memories, repairing damage to muscle and sinew etc, the benefits go on and on. Yet a lot of us aren’t sleeping well. Talking and exploring sleep should be at the top of any health-related appointment.

Once sleep environment, proper bedtime and exercise has been addressed if sleep issues persist a proper evaluation of your thyroid function, hormonal balance, epigenetic tendencies (genetic inheritance), magnesium/calcium status and Vitamin D needs to be assessed.
